A 5.9 magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi and a number of other other cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, Geo Information reported.

The quake was at a depth of 210 km with the centre in Hindukush Area, Afghanistan, based on Nationwide Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad.
