KARNATAKA: Muskan, the courageous Muslim girl who stood agency earlier than a mob of Hindu far-right goons, is a pupil at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School in India’s Karnataka.
Muskan’s video of dealing with the Hindu mob at the faculty a day earlier had gone viral on media, receiving applauds from all for her braveness.
Speaking about the ordeal she needed to face, Muskan mentioned that she had gone to her faculty to submit her task.
In an interview with Indian media, she mentioned, ”After I reached the faculty, a mob of [Hindu] extremists tried to cease me at the gate.”
They weren’t permitting me simply because I was sporting the “burqa”, she mentioned, including that a few of the boys in the mob have been making obscene gestures in the direction of her.
“I was not afraid,” she added.
The Hindu extremists have been shouting “Jai Shri Ram”, she mentioned, “so I started screaming Allah hu Akbar.”
In the meantime, the faculty principal and lecturers reached there and guarded me, she added. Muskan mentioned that her principal by no means stopped them from sporting hijab. She mentioned that majority of the mob have been outsiders.
“Hijab is part of the identity of a Muslim girl”, she mentioned, including that they are going to proceed their protest for the Hijab.
