Islamabad : Pakistan Nationwide Council of the Arts (PNCA) would arrange an artwork exhibition titled “Forms of Existence”– a present to pay tribute to a legendary grasp artist Rabia Zuberi today (Thursday). The present is an amalgamation of drawings, sculptures, and work from the Nationwide Artwork Gallery’s everlasting collection.
The senior officers of the Visible Arts Division, PNCA advised APP that the present shall be on display until February 10, 2022. COVID SOPS shall be strictly adopted on the premises of display.
Rabia Zuberi, typically referred to in Pakistan as Queen Mom of Arts, was a sculptor, painter, former chairperson of the Pakistan Arts Council, trainer, and Pakistan’s first girl sculptor. A few of her drawings embrace Dupatta, Quest for Peace, and a few sculptures titled “Peace Message from the Progressive World and Peace Message” which had been acquired by the Nationwide Artwork Gallery, Pakistan throughout an exhibition in 2003.
In 2010, the federal government awarded her the Delight of Efficiency in recognition of her work, depicting an orphan with a visage.
Her life is roofed in a e book titled ‘Rabia Zuberi: Life and Wor’ which was printed in 2009. Her profession was lined in a e book titled “Unveiling the Visible: Lives and Works of Women Artists of Pakistan” which was printed in 2002.
