KARACHI: Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United by eight runs in an exhilarating match 12 of the Pakistan Tremendous League (PSL) on the Nationwide Stadium in Karachi on Saturday.

Regardless of their robust efficiency, Islamabad skipper Shadab Khan and Colin Munro did not safe a win for his or her group towards Qalandars.

Shadab performed a captain’s knock by smashing 50 off 29 deliveries. Nonetheless, he had to return to the pavilion after scoring 52 runs from 32 balls with two fours and 4 sixes. The batsman was dismissed by Rashid Khan.

Earlier, his deadly spell wrecked Lahore Qalandars’ batting line-up. He bagged 4 wickets and conceded simply 20 runs in his four-over spell.

Skipper Shaheen Afridi drew first blood for his group when he dismissed Alex Hales within the third over of the innings. Whereas Haris Rauf despatched Paul Stirling, the opposite Islamabad opener, within the fifth over.

Colin Munro was the highest scorer for his group as he made 60 runs from 45 balls with 5 fours and three sixes.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars handed a 175-run goal to Islamabad United within the twelfth match of the Pakistan Tremendous League (PSL) on the Nationwide Stadium in Karachi.

United’s bowlers destroyed the middle-order of Lahore Qalandars as they misplaced three essential wickets within the final over limiting the batters to 174.

United’s skipper Shadab Khan drew first blood for his group after bowling out Abdullah Shafique within the eight over of the match.

Shadab Khan and Waqas Masood took 4 scalps every.
